Our camp
delivers a quality program by placing a high priority on teaching,
motivating, and encouraging athletes to become better basketball players.
If you are interested in having a great time while becoming a better
basketball player where coaches coach and
athletes become better players, then this camp is for you!
The Basketball Edge believes in quality instruction, as we have a coach
to player ratio of 1:10 at our summer camp. Our head coaches are
professionals certified by the National Coaching Certification Program of
Canada (NCCP). Some are also physical education teachers while others are
experienced and successful coaches from the Edmonton area. Our coaches are not
current basketball players acting as coaches.
At The Basketball Edge, we have a mature professional coaching staff that
takes an interest in your child’s basketball dreams. We are different
than the other camps that use players to coach your children. Our
coaching staff is selected for their ability to teach fundamentals of the
game and to help athletes improve. The coaches provide the athletes with
skills, drills, and performance strategies needed for them to progress to
a higher level of competition. We like to refer to this as The Basketball
Edge.
